Ogallala Water

The major emphasis of Dr. Aguilar’s work is in technology development and management related to irrigated agriculture in western Kansas. He has a working background in GIS, remote sensing, database management, soil and water conservation, watershed modeling, hydrology, environmental assessment, water quality, lithology, and well drilling.

Dr. Aguilar works with farmers in SW Kansas to improve their water use efficiency and learn more about technologies that can help conserve water through the state of Kansas's Water Technology Farm program.
