A key goal of the Ogallala Aquifer Summit is to help facilitate the exchange of information across state lines. A white paper from each state was put together for the Summit to:
- provide an overview of strategies being by used by producers to manage water challenges
- communicate new findings and info related to science/data, and
- share new policy-related developments
These papers are the product of a collaborative effort that involved state leaders (in the Office of the State Engineer for some states, Departments of Natural Resources, etc.), collaborators working with the Ogallala Water CAP and other colleagues, state water center directors, and others. An additional paper on crop insurance rounds out the set. Click on an image under a title to access and/or download an individual white paper.
Print copies of these white papers will be provided to participants at the Summit in Garden City, KS on April 9-10. To view and download the full set of white papers, click here.
